Enrolling your child in preschool dance classes is one of the best things you can do for their development and sets them up for future success. HBD’s toddler classes are a great way to keep your preschooler busy and get their wiggles out, but they also have many other benefits that are designed to enhance their gross motor coordination, listening skills and nurture their imagination. Beginning at age 2 your dancer can enroll in our Tiny Tots, or Acro Tots class. These 30 minute classes will introduce your child to the world of dance. Dancers DO NOT have to be potty-trained for this class.

Where fun and friendship meet, this program is perfect for your early school-age dancer to grow in confidence and independence as they learn technique basics along with important preschool life skills. Your child will be introduced to basic ballet and tap terminology and classroom expectations. Our program is designed for young dancers to have a learning year and a leading year in each class. Dancers have onstage performance opportunities in our Spring Recital.

Our Academy classes are designed to introduce and expand on the technique basics of each style of dance so the dancer can grow in confidence. From our children’s classes all the way to our teen classes your dancer will have the opportunity to build their terminology, technique, musicality, strength, control and flexibility. We offer classes in a variety of styles to suit your dancer’s interest; All focusing on proper technique, terminology and classroom etiquette, this class allows your young dancer to explore the world of dance! Dancers in these classes have onstage performance opportunities in our Spring Recital.
